
On June 10, 2024, JB’s High Voltage held its annual Safety Day, dedicated to enhancing the safety and well-being of our team. The event kicked off with a hearty breakfast and t-shirt distribution, setting a positive tone for the day.
Agenda Highlights:
- 6:30 AM – Director Message: Leigh Baker emphasized the importance of safety in our daily operations.
- 7:45 AM – Commercial Driving: Officer McNabb from the CHP provided crucial insights into safe driving practices.
- 8:00 AM – Bloodborne Pathogens: Ron Curry from MOR Safety Services educated us on handling bloodborne pathogens.
- 9:45 AM – Distracted Driving: Traveler’s Insurance highlighted the dangers and prevention strategies.
- 10:15 AM – Policies Update: Leigh Baker and Trisha Butcher, CHRO, discussed key policy updates including motor vehicle accident reporting and return-to-work protocols.
- 11:15 AM – CEO Message: James Bryan inspired the team with his closing remarks before lunch.
- 12:30 PM – Driving/Fatigue Management: PG&E shared essential tips on managing driving fatigue.
- 2:00 PM – Achievement Award: Congratulations to Ben Moffitt, Foreman, for outstanding dedication and hard work! This achievement award is a tradition we started here at JB’s High Voltage to recognize outstanding employees. Their contributions never go unnoticed!
The day concluded with a raffle, a group photo, and a closing message from Director Leigh Baker. Safety Day not only reinforced our commitment to safety but also strengthened our team spirit.
